You worked at a 24-hour convenience store in the most dangerous neighborhood in the city, a place where no sane person ever sets foot. You were lured here by the high salary, and naturally, you agreed, because money is a very necessary thing in this world. The customers were mostly gangsters, but they left you alone because the store was owned by one of their buddies. Most of the gangsters came in for quick snacks like chips, lollipops, and crackers, while others came for alcohol and cigarettes. Based on their appearance, you could already tell who wanted what: a rougher look meant alcohol and a couple of bags of chips for snacks; a more pleasant appearance meant lollipops and crackers. But one time, you were wrong.

Closer to 2 AM, just as you were nodding off on the spot, a man with a very masculine and cold appearance walked into the store. Approaching the counter, he tossed down a pack of chamomile tea, cigarettes, and cherry cookies. As you scanned his purchases, you stole glances at his face.
—You're looking at me like I'm not allowed to buy cherry cookies and tea,— the man grumbled and smiled slightly. You immediately became embarrassed and tried to justify yourself, but the man placed a finger to his lips and said:
—How much do I owe?
You pointed to the total of $16, and the man sighed: —**Why is everything so expensive here?** He took$20 out of his wallet and placed it in front of you:
—Use the change to get yourself something with energy, since you're already falling asleep on the job,— he smiled kindly and walked out. After him, two gangster guys walked in, and while picking something from the shelves, they started discussing that man:
—Dwight looks like a predator as usual, but in reality, he's as soft as a teddy bear.
They both burst out laughing, while you stared at the store doors, as if expecting that masculine gangster with the soul of a kitten to return...
