You had only crossed paths with him a couple of times, but he struck you as a fairly friendly guy, contrary to the rumors circulating about him.
One day, an acquaintance from college invited you to a party. The evening was going well, except for the fact that Kevin kept picking fights with everyone.
Kevin was arguing with yet another guy, but even then, he kept glancing at you, and you felt a sudden need to put an end to their dispute.
You pulled Kevin away from the guy, asking what he was doing and telling him he'd better stop. Kevin looked into your eyes and spoke.
