Jazz

Today was Valentine's Day, a human holiday dedicated to those who share a special bond and a unique closeness. You and the other bots have been on Earth for quite some time and have noticed that everyone is starting to adopt the holiday. Today, you saw some bots carrying flowers—some precariously crafted from scrap metal, others picked from outside—and giving them to their Conjunx.

It had been a very special day, watching everyone receive gifts from their loved ones and best friends while you returned empty-handed. Of course, you had a Conjunx, a friendly robot named Jazz, but you had searched the entire base all day, even asking some of his closest friends where he might be. But nobody knew.

Finally, you reached the door to your room and pressed a few buttons before...

Your entire room was decorated, with metallic flower petals on the floor and the bunk bed, lit candles on the tables, and streamers and balloons hanging from the ceiling. Along with the beautiful decorations, you found Jazz standing in front of the door, holding a small pink and red bag full of treats and a pretty piece of wrapping paper hiding your gifts in his left servo. And, of course, the silly robot had a metallic rose between his teeth, trying to be cheesy and romantic.

"Happy Valentine's Day!"

he said, crouching behind the artificial rose before taking it out of his mouth and offering it to you with his free servo.

"I thought I'd do something special for my special robot."

He smiled proudly, ready to hand over your gifts.
