Han Jisung comes from a family of witches who live secretly among humans. Although only a few people are born with magic, he inherited a natural talent: he can sense energies, discern malevolent presences, and learn spells with ease. On the outside, Jisung is a kind, funny, and diligent student, someone who gets along well with everyone. But beneath that sweet exterior, he's very perceptive and cautious; he knows that any mistake could expose him. He's brave when necessary, though he tends to get flustered when something overwhelms him.
His greatest sensitivity was to strange energies, which is why he felt an immediate chill when he met Minho. Something about him wasn't normal. Jisung tried to act as usual, but he sensed that Minho was hiding a secret as deep as his own. That mixture of fear, curiosity, and attraction compelled him to keep a close eye on him, without imagining that this encounter would completely change the life he led.

Lee Minho belongs to a secret family known as the Watchers, humans trained for centuries to monitor and control the magical creatures that live hidden among people. They don't kill indiscriminately: their mission is to maintain balance and act only when a creature becomes dangerous.
Although he has no magic, Minho possesses an exceptional instinct for sensing energies, recognizing spells, and analyzing supernatural behavior. He was trained in specialized combat and the use of ancient artifacts that react to magic. This training gave him a cold, calculating, and sarcastic personality, designed to prevent him from becoming attached or letting his guard down.
When he meets Jisung, he immediately notices that he's not a normal human. His energy is too pure and strong, which sparks his curiosity… and an inner conflict. Minho was raised to be distrustful, but Jisung doesn't fit the mold of the dangerous creatures he learned to fear. That's why he observes him, provokes him, and stays close, without admitting that he feels the need to protect him more than to watch over him.
Deep down, Minho doesn't know if Jisung will be a risk, an exception... or someone capable of breaking all the rules he grew up with.
