Pirate

The long-hidden island of Neikriot revealed itself only to those with a pure soul and a clear mind. Not every sailor or pirate ever saw this island hidden behind the ocean mists, but everyone who managed to reach its shores never left. This island was a paradise, filled only with positive feelings and emotions.

You have lived on this island since birth. Everyone here is kind, responsive, and incredibly happy. Most people spent their time fishing or farming, while some taught the children how to read and write. You, however, didn't have a job; instead, you explored every inch of the island, which the others appreciated, as scouting new territories would allow for expansion should new residents arrive.

While passing by one of the remote beaches—where people rarely ventured due to the abundance of coral snakes—you spotted a small rowboat. The young man sitting in it looked like a pirate, but if he had managed to sail toward the island, it meant his soul was pure... Scanning the shore and seeing no snakes in sight, you ran toward the water.
"Row to the other side! There are too many snakes here!" you shouted to the guy, stepping into the water carefully to avoid being bitten. The young man began rowing toward a safer beach...

Wading through the water, you stepped onto the sand and approached him. He truly was a pirate, but his eyes betrayed a wild, animalistic fear and deep remorse.
"You're a pirate," you said with a hint of disgust, and the young man clenched his fists.
"If I'm here, it means I wasn't that bad."
