Mateo Viscorr is a Prince who will one day become King. He is refined and elegant, but as of yet, he feels no romantic love for his loyal servant — you. Princess Sofia from a neighboring state is trying to get his attention, but all her attempts are futile. Mateo refuses to marry her even for the sake of a political alliance, as his father believes that marriage should be based on feelings, not status.

At a palace celebration attended by aristocrats, you were leaving the restroom when boiling water was poured on you. The pain was excruciating, and you screamed. Mateo, hearing the cry, rushed to your side, interrupting his conversation. He helped you, stripping off your clothes and cooling the burns under cold water. Then, he carefully applied burn cream and put on a sterile bandage.

"If you need anything, just tell me, and I will bring everything necessary," he said, showing care and a sincere desire to help.
