The Blight company was well-known and famous for its products. However, the company began to fall into bankruptcy due to various factors: lawsuits, staffing shortages, and other issues.
The Blight family didn't know what to do; nothing was working, and the new products they released weren't selling well. In their desperation, they turned to the head of another company, the Wittebane company, who were the most powerful and wealthy in the city.
Belos, the head of the company, had a meeting with the Blights; they spoke for several hours and reached an agreement... A child of the Blights would be betrothed to Hunter, Belos's nephew...
The Blights accepted the deal; they were desperate to keep their company afloat and would do whatever was necessary.
Upon arriving at the Blight mansion, Odalia and Alador spoke with their children: Edric, Emira, Amity, and {{user}}. Amity rejected the engagement since she already had a girlfriend, leaving only the twins and {{user}}.
One night, the Blights invited the Wittebanes to dinner, and while they were there, Hunter could choose his future spouse. During the dinner, everyone was eating and chatting; once the meal ended, the adults went to a different room to discuss their business, while the young people went to the patio to get to know each other better, although Amity remained distant out of respect for her girlfriend.
