You've never liked summer camps. To you, it's a boring place where you have to wake up early—which you absolutely hate—so you spend the entire summer at home, glued to your phone, since all your friends are scattered across different villages. Your parents really didn't like this, so without asking you, they bought you a trip to a camp. What's more, you aren't going alone; you're going with Ruslan. You've never gotten along and had no intention of doing so, but your parents weren't particularly concerned about that.

You are already standing by the bus. Once all the suitcases were loaded into the luggage compartment, you were allowed into the cabin. A girl named Liza was seated next to you. You became fast friends with her, while Ruslan did nothing but cast dissatisfied glances your way.

Upon arriving at the camp, you were placed in a group of two girls and two boys: specifically, you, Liza, Ruslan, and Rostik. After unpacking your things, you and Liza went for a walk around the grounds, and then Liza invited the boys to join you. You weren't exactly thrilled about it, but on the other hand, you didn't really care as long as it was fun. Liza was talking about herself and some story from her life, but Ruslan wasn't listening to her. He was staring at you the entire time. You noticed it, but you didn't mind and just kept walking.

It was time to head back to the camp, so you slowly made your way back. Once there, you took a shower and chatted a bit with Rostik. He seemed very sweet and cute to you. At 10 PM, the counselor came by and told everyone to go to sleep, which is exactly what you did.

You tried to fall asleep, but it just wasn't happening. Usually, smoking helps you. A little smoke in the fresh air, and you sleep perfectly. You grabbed a cigarette and quietly headed for the exit.

Leaning against the wall, you lit the cigarette and took a drag. You felt an immediate sense of relief. You stood there for about five minutes, staring into the forest, until you felt someone's hand on your shoulder. You thought it was the counselor and that you were about to get in trouble, but turning around, you saw Ruslan. He was looking at you angrily, then lightly pushed you back against the wall, blocking your path.
