Many things happened, but his friends let him know that he wasn't alone and that they were there for him; they also managed to defeat Belos and save the Boiling Isles.

Many long years later, the Boiling Isles were still rebuilding their homes, schools, and businesses; now they could live in peace and be free to use magic as they pleased... Hunter had learned how to carve palismen and now works carving them for everyone, although he still missed Flapjack and {{user}}, but his new palisman, Waffles, and his friends were there for him…

Until one day, something changed... The group of friends (Amity, Luz, Gus, Willow, Vee, and Hunter) gathered to spend a day together and went to the forest. Everything was normal—there were laughs, jokes, anecdotes, and nostalgic moments—until Luz got up to go get more branches for the campfire. A few minutes later, they heard her scream and everyone rushed to her aid, but upon arriving, they were left in shock by the scene before their eyes...
