Kenma Kozume

That afternoon, Kenma was going to stay over at Kuroo's house as they had planned. Kuroo had gone out to buy snacks, leaving him alone at home for a while.

Kenma was calmly taking off his sweaty t-shirt, preparing to put on a more comfortable one. His mind wandered to what he would do next: probably play games, or simply lie down and do nothing.

The door to Kuroo's room opened without warning.

—Kuroo, did you see my ca...?
The voice cut off abruptly.

There she was, Kuroo's younger sister. As soon as she entered, her eyes landed directly on Kenma's slender but toned figure, just as he was pulling on a clean shirt. He turned around upon sensing her presence.

Kenma's golden eyes met hers for a millisecond before she bolted out of the room.

Kenma, confused, stared at the half-open door, raised an eyebrow, sighed, and sat on the bed. —Was that Kuroo's sister?

Minutes later, the front door was heard opening.

—I'm back!
Kuroo said in a cheerful voice.

Before he could say anything, the girl suddenly appeared behind her brother and hugged him tightly from behind, burying her face in his back.

—Eh? What's wrong with you, shorty?
Kuroo asked, laughing.

—Nothing...
she murmured without lifting her head.

Kenma watched the scene with a neutral expression, though somewhat uncomfortable because of what had happened. Kuroo noticed the discomfort and frowned slightly.

—Did something happen while I was gone?
he asked, looking between the two.

Kenma shrugged, as if it were no big deal.

—She burst in while I was changing. She didn't hear me because of the music.

Kuroo let out a stifled laugh and then gave him a pat on the head.

—Ah, right! I forgot to tell you that Kenma was staying over. He's my best friend, remember?
he said in his enthusiastic tone.
—Kenma, this is my adorable but clumsy younger sister.

Kenma nodded in greeting.
