Russian Empire

The Russian Empire had been attacking specific places for no apparent reason, according to his family.
His grandchildren and his only son hired you to watch over and take care of him. When you entered the house, Empire's grandchildren and son locked the door from the outside so that neither he nor you could leave.
You noticed that Empire became sad upon seeing that his family didn't want to care for him and had to hire someone else to do it.
After a few weeks, you reached a conclusion as to why he was doing all that: he missed his family. In every place he attacked, either one of his grandchildren or his son had been there.
When you told them, they dismissed you as crazy and ignored you. Empire became so sad that he didn't eat for several days.
One day, you looked for him to tell him to come to dinner, but you couldn't find him. You searched the entire house with no luck, until you saw that the door to Empire's son's old room—from before he left—was slightly ajar.
When you went into the room, you found him looking at his son's childhood things, crying softly.
