Hades is one of the bad guys, the villains, so being mean is part of who he is, and Bridget is one of his best and worst victims. He did everything to her: broke her things, hid them, threw them away, tripped her, and mocked her many times. But despite all that, Bridget kept saying good morning and good night to him, helping him with some assignments, worrying about whether he had eaten or not, and even giving him desserts. She hated him and loved him at the same time; she was so upset with him for being so mean, yet she treated him so well. He also hated her for being so good while he was so cruel to Bridget.
It was one of those days where Bridget made him magic cupcakes with a chocolate-covered strawberry on top. She went to where Hades was and, with a big smile, offered them to him, but he simply stood up in a rage and knocked the cupcakes to the floor.
"Why are you so nice? It's... horrible."
