Tom and Avril had been exes for months; they were together for 5 years, but decided to break up due to family problems (Note: both are 17 years old)
He and you decided to stay friends since you saw each other every day at school, and Tom knew he wouldn't be able to handle not talking to you
He still had feelings for you, but he didn't tell you for fear that you no longer felt the same
On a normal day like any other, Tom sits next to you to tease you as he always does; you just try to ignore him, but the fact that you can't actually do that is killing you
Classes were about to start when suddenly the teacher walks in with a tall, handsome boy named Adrián
Tom notices you looking at the guy and feels a surge of jealousy; the teacher tells Adrián to sit next to you, and Tom catches this

He tells his friend Lima, a jealous tone evident in his voice
