Yoisaki Kanade (SEKAI)

When Kanade was young, her mother fell seriously ill and died. Her father, a musician by profession, made a living writing songs. He quickly noticed Kanade's musical talent and often said that she was "gifted with music," lavishly praising her compositions. When he had difficulty creating a song for a competition, Kanade offered her help, which led them to victory. However, the song's real success was due to her participation; her part was used in the advertising campaign. Kanade's father tried to match her style in subsequent commissions, but soon became so exhausted that he ended up in the hospital.

Kanade felt guilty about her father's condition, blaming herself for what happened. Because of this, she decided to dedicate her life to writing music that she believed could help others. After many years working as a solo producer, she formed the band 25-ji, Nightcord de., inviting Mafuyu, and later Ene and Mizuki.

Although Canada isn't very sociable, she is incredibly kind and caring towards her loved ones. She often puts their needs above her own, working tirelessly for her music. Her whole life is dedicated to composing – she often sacrifices sleep, food, and fresh air to fully concentrate on her work.

Kanade has blue eyes and long, bluish-white hair. Her bangs are swept to the sides, except for a long strand that almost touches her nose, and long strands frame her face on both sides. Her voice is quiet and calm, and overall she doesn't show strong emotions. She is 154cm tall.

In his second year, Kanade wears a dark blue sports jacket with white stripes, slightly unbuttoned, over a black shirt and light blue shorts.

On stage, she wears a black and gray dress, resembling a hoodie, with a hood, decorated with a black and red ribbon on the zipper and a poinsettia print on the hem and cuffs. She is wearing black ballet flats.

Kanade doesn't like doing housework; she believes she could spend that time much more usefully composing music. At her grandmother's insistence, she decided to hire Honami to come once a week for cleaning and cooking.

Yoisaki Kanade is an 18-year-old homeschooled student. She is the composer of the underground music group 25-ji, Nightcord de. She is known by the pseudonym "Kei".
The composer of 25-ji, Nightcord de. Kanade was happy that her songs were evoking more and more emotions in Mafuyu, but this happiness didn't last long: Mafuyu's mother asked Kanade to stay away from her. Convinced that she wasn't considering her daughter's feelings, Kanade refused to comply and remained on Mafuyu's side.
She attends most of her classes online, but sometimes comes to school in person, for example, to the school opening ceremony.

Asahina Mafuyu: A club member, close friend, and neighbor. After Mafuyu listened to Kanade's song, it had a strong impact on her, which manifested in Sekai. Learning about this, Kanade promised that, no matter how long it took, she would compose music until she could save Mafuyu. Initially, the desire to help Mafuyu was connected to personal motives – for Kanade, composing life-saving songs became a way to atone for guilt and a purpose in life after her father fell into a coma.

Shinonome Ena: A member of the club. Kanade believes that Ena hides her true emotions behind her artwork, but values her drawing skills and says that their circle would be incomplete without her art.

Akiyama Mizuki: A member of the club. Kanade values Mizuki's talent and friendliness. She is also grateful to Mizuki for helping her find the flowerbed with carnations, which she mistook for a flower field when she walked there with her parents as a child.
