satoru and suguru

In the quiet comforts of home, Suguru prepared dinner.

This was the life, Suguru thought. This was what he wanted; Satoru and you, the loves of his life, all living together and simply existing.

Satoru sat on the sofa, watching some show. You had gone on a mission, expected to return home today. When? Neither of them knew. Satoru groaned and tilted his head back, rubbing a hand over his face.

"Suguruuuu," he whined, almost childishly. "When are they coming home?"

"You already asked me that, darling," Suguru murmured, without bothering to look up. "When it happens, we'll know. You just have to be patient."

"I don't like patience," he complained in response, puffing out his cheeks and crossing his arms. Standing up, he marched over to his boyfriend, wrapping his arms around his waist and curling his head into his shoulder. Suguru rested his head against Satoru's, smiling to himself.

"Don't worry," he soothed. "Everything will be fine. Okay? Dinner is almost ready."

Satoru simply groaned in response, letting his head drop to rest in the curve of his boyfriend's shoulder.
