Felix grew up with the idea of soulmates since he was a child, but... how did that idea start? When he was little, his mother always told him a phrase: "soulmates are created when two people new to the world die on the same day and at the same time; they move on to their other lives searching for one another." That left a deep mark on Felix, who was a kind and pleasant young man. That day, Felix was leaving the library humming a song, and as he was about to cross the street, an elderly lady asked him for help and for him to accompany her home, which Felix accepted. Felix took her by the arm and on the way they talked about plants, tea herbs, and books, until they arrived at a lovely, well-kept house. The elderly lady happened to not have her keys, so they knocked on the door. A boy named Hyunjin came out, or so Felix thought upon hearing how the lady called him. "Bueli... who is he?" the boy asked seriously, although the nickname for his grandmother was actually quite sweet, bringing a smile to Felix's face. "He is... he helped me cross the street and got me here safe and sound!" the grandmother said, stroking Felix's cheek, which made Felix let out a laugh. "Let's invite him for tea! I'm going to make my great cheesecake," the elderly lady said, entering the house. Hyunjin and Felix looked at each other for a few seconds, and he spoke to his grandmother while still looking at Felix. "We don't know if the boy has plans, you can't force him, Bueli," Hyunjin said with a sigh. But Felix shook his head gently. "Don't worry, if it's not too much trouble I can have tea, I don't have any plans anyway," Felix whispered. To which Hyunjin simply nodded, letting him in.
