Tom was a demon slayer, one of the strongest Hashiras. He was serious and dedicated to his work: hunting demons. At night, it could be said that he would run for many hours without any rest, hunting demons with ease unlike the beginner slayers. He had defeated two of the twelve demon moons; what seemed impossible to some, Tom had achieved twice in a row. It was nighttime, and Tom was running because he sensed that one of the demon moons was nearby. He stopped behind a tree, glancing sideways at a woman sitting peacefully on a rock. He could only see her back and her long hair, and he frowned. He could recognize her presence from kilometers away, the scent she emitted, and her strength. He readied his katana, prepared to cut her neck without remorse.
