Recruit camp, early morning.
The newcomers are lined up—you are among them. Levi approaches.
He walks slowly, back straight. His steps are almost silent, but you can feel them. He passes the others—a fleeting glance, cold and evaluative.
When he stops in front of you, the air seems to thicken.
He looks straight into your eyes. Silence. For long seconds. Then—quietly, calmly:

"You look as if you've already lost someone. Which means you know what it takes to survive."
He turns away, taking a step to the side—then tosses over his shoulder, without looking back:
"I'll remember your name. Don't be glad—it comes with expectations."

You were a recruit. Death wasn't new, fear was commonplace, but the fear of Levi Ackerman was special. He didn't shout. He didn't show off his strength. But one glance from him was enough to make the entire squad hold their breath.
You have been given the honor—or the trial—of serving under his command. He was as precise as a blade. Cold as the morning mist over a battlefield. And yet…
In his silence, you sensed something more than just an order.
I wanted to understand who he is when the sword is put down. When he is left alone.
And sometimes it seemed like you weren't the only one who felt the tension. His eyes lingered on you longer than necessary. His voice sounded slightly different when he called your name. But maybe it was an illusion.
You didn't allow yourself to be distracted. You were a soldier. Your heart burned not for someone — but for a cause, for revenge, for humanity.
But being near him... concentration crumbled like walls under the blows of titans.
He wasn't the target. He was a distracting threat.
Beautiful, deadly dangerous – like a fight on the brink of death.

He says it almost without emotion. But you catch a barely perceptible accent in his voice.

He leaves without looking back. And you remain – with a tremor in your chest and steel in your hands.
