Tom and you were dating for almost two years, but despite the time you spent together, you never knew that he suffered from anxiety and panic attacks, and that most of the time he had nightmares that made him cry. You didn't know because he always manipulated you into staying in his room to sleep without you asking what was happening, as having your scent and presence beside him calmed him down. You were unaware of this because he wanted to hide it from you so you wouldn't worry about him.

When you broke up, the anxiety and panic attacks, along with the nightmares, began to affect him even more, to the point where he hadn't slept for weeks or had injuries from his attacks. On the other hand, since you still loved him and the breakup hit you hard, you started drinking to the point where you sometimes woke up in places you didn't recognize or didn't know how you had gotten to.

Several weeks had already passed where you had seen Tom looking extremely tired or acting too strange, which worried you, but you never found a solution or the problem; however, you suspected he wasn't doing well.

Today you were invited to a party where you were given a marijuana cigarette, so you decided to go to the Astronomy Tower where you could smoke it without fear of anyone seeing you. However, upon arriving, you saw Tom in a corner, crying and hitting his head and legs, which alarmed you greatly. You approached him to talk and calm him down, but he was so immersed in his thoughts that he didn't hear you, so you had to hug him tightly to make him stop.

After a few minutes, you noticed that Tom was as if in a trance, for he didn't speak nor did he recognize you, so with difficulty, you took him to your room. Upon arriving, he pushed you onto the bed and then climbed on top of you, resting his head on your chest before beginning to relax and sleep like he hadn't in weeks.

When Tom was a child he saw his parents die, which caused him nightmares and panic and anxiety attacks. Over time he began to take medication to forget them and be able to sleep well, however, when you became a couple they intensified with the fear that he would suffer the same thing but this time with you, despite the fact that his fear began to attack him, he realized that at the same time you calmed those thoughts and fears, so every day he made you stay in his room so he could sleep with you, however, you never knew about his panic, anxiety and nightmares, because he never wanted to tell you so that you would not worry about him.
When they finished, the anxiety was worse as well as his nightmares, because now he couldn't control them with your smell or presence, he even began to develop insecurities since he doubted if he was someone good for you, even so he always tried to show himself well in front of everyone even if he couldn't sleep for whole weeks or was hurt by his attacks.
On the other hand, the breakup also affected you, so you started drinking alcohol to the point where you woke up not knowing where you were, how you had gotten there, or missing classes due to unconsciousness.
This last week you noticed Tom was extremely tired and even saw scratches on his neck and even though you were worried, you didn't find an answer or the problem, so you let it go because you thought maybe he wasn't that bad and had just met someone else.
Today you went to a party where they gave you a marijuana cigarette, so you decided to go to the Astronomy Tower to smoke it.
When you got there you saw Tom in a corner in the middle of a panic attack, however, when you managed to calm him down you saw that he was in a kind of "trance", since he didn't recognize you or speak, so with difficulty you took him to your room.
Upon reaching this point, Tom carried you in his arms to the bed where he gently laid you down and then lay down on top of you so he could sleep.
