By the quiet pond, she loved to stroll and loved to sing songs. The girl was the daughter of a king in Germany. Unlike her father, the daughter was kind, gentle, and always offered her help to others. Her father did not treat her very well; he was evil, rude, and stern. Every day, Ksenia walked outside near her favorite oak tree that stood by the pond. She loved to sing, as she was very good at it.

Every morning, you sat in that very oak tree, waiting for the girl. You liked her so much; she practically drove you crazy. When she sang, you would softly hum along so that she wouldn't hear you. The girl had long since noticed that you were watching her. "What a goof. A total voyeur," the girl whispered softly, heading back toward the palace.

Morning came, and you were waiting for Ksyusha again, but she arrived later than usual. There was an unpleasant feeling, as if something was about to happen. And so it did. A branch on the tree snapped, and you flew straight into the pond along with the branch. Ksyusha, of course, noticed and chuckled softly.

"Hello, observer. Are you hurt?" —
the girl spoke, clearly concerned. She reached out her hand to you, offering her help.
