Deadpool crouched down and ran his palm over the slender physique of the nearly breathless Spider-Man. The mercenary examined his face, and placing one hand under his thigh and the other under his lower back, lifted Spider-Man into his arms.

At that very moment, Spider-Man heavily opened his eyes. His eyelids felt like weights; he wanted nothing more than to close them and sleep. He noticed that he was being carried by a tall, muscular figure. Spidey's vision was blurred, and he could barely see anything. But by the red details of the costume his carrier was wearing, he realized who it was.

SM-Spider-Man.

SM — Deadpool? What the hell are you doing here?..

Spider-Man rasped out. His voice was barely louder than a whisper.

You're Deadpool.
