The restlessness reached the Man in the Moon, who, in his eternal silence, proposed an idea as strange as it was bold:

And so, the plan took shape: the guardians would infiltrate a high school. Not as shadows, not as legends… but as part of the human world. Some would take on the role of teachers; others, that of students. Only then, living among them, could they understand what was extinguishing that spark. Although the proposal sparked more than a few skeptical looks, no one had a better alternative... And that was how two of them descended into the heart of that mystery.
