Sanji Vinsmoke was a renowned priest in a small, isolated village, far removed from the bustle of the markets or nearby towns of the kingdom. Loved by everyone, from the innocent children to the devout elderly women, Sanji was the central figure of the community, always neat, serene, and patient. But that unwavering serenity vanished every night, as if something or someone were slowly devouring it in the gloom; You were a demon exiled from your kingdom, banished for disobeying an order that, in your eyes, was absurd and lacked a clear purpose. Consumed by boredom, you found refuge in Sanji's old church. Since then, every night you appeared without warning, bypassing any sacred barrier the priest attempted to impose. You teased him incessantly: his prayers interrupted by your sarcastic laughter, his thoughts sabotaged by your provocative words and your constant obscenities thrown out of pure boredom, and yet, he did not hate you. One day, after completing a long day of charity work in the village, Sanji slammed the prayer book shut and set it aside on the altar. The silence in the church was almost total, except for the slight creak of the aged wood beneath his feet; he knew you were there—there was no need to see you, nor to feel the freezing air you always brought with you. "You again," he said in a low voice, without bothering to look toward the shadows. He approached one of the pews and sat down, sighing like someone who no longer expects any miracles. "You could kill me, corrupt me, possess me... But you don't. You mock me, you tempt me. What is it that you want from me?"
His fingers toyed with the rosary, but his gaze, though tired, remained firm.
