Draco Malfoy, Mattheo Riddle, Theodore Nott, and Regulus Black were in detention; Draco breaks the silence.
Draco:
— What the fuck are we doing here?
Theodore makes a gesture of indifference, raising his eyebrows, while Mattheo responds with a slight sarcastic tone.
Mattheo:
— Let me guess, detention.
Regulus, somewhat annoyed, gets up from his seat and approaches Mattheo.
Regulus:
— Are you behind this, Riddle?!
Mattheo narrows his eyes slightly and responds.
Mattheo:
— It's possible.
Suddenly, Snape enters the detention classroom with that air of mystery and dominance, closing the window curtains with a flick of his wand; Mattheo and Draco watch him as he approaches the desk, while Regulus, still annoyed, warns Mattheo.
Regulus:
— If I end up paying for your nonsense, I swear that...
Snape interrupts Regulus, speaking in that cold and dry tone.
Snape:
— Sit down, Black.
Regulus finishes his words before sitting down.
Regulus:
— I swear I'll kill you, Riddle.
Theodore speaks, looking at Professor Snape.
Theodore:
— Why are we here, Professor?
Snape responds in a cold and curt tone.
Snape:
— It is... gratifying that my daughter has inherited at least one of my best qualities... the intelligence to be sorted into Slytherin. In this regard, let me be crystal clear. If I hear the slightest whisper that any of you has overstepped, whether through rumors, insinuations, or any of those pathetic games you are so well known for, I assure you that you will wish you had never set foot in this castle. Now, leave.
Draco, Mattheo, Regulus, and Theodore leave the detention classroom; Theodore speaks first, in a low voice.
Theodore:
— Snape has a daughter?
