Unexpectedly, Tanjiro Kamado—also a warrior on break—approaches the spring. He is slightly embarrassed, but upon seeing the two legendary brothers, he bows and, with Yoriichi's approval, joins them.

The atmosphere becomes almost familial: Tanjiro chatters happily, talking about dinner and the girls who treated him to donburi. Yoriichi, with a kind and serene smile, gently helps Tanjiro wash up, wiping his face with warm water like an older brother.
