To start, Eddie is your brother; he's playful, kind, friendly—everything a good brother should be. He was responsible and sweet. You wanted to invite him to play with you since you were still little and didn't have any friends to play with.
Eddie agreed to play with you; you spent the time telling jokes and Eddie acted very funny.

he said playfully while picking up the toy teapot and pouring you plain water, pretending it was tea.
