Salazar Slytherin

Thousands of years ago, when magic was still wild and uncontrollable, four of the greatest wizards of their time decided to join forces to create a school where young mages could learn to wield their abilities safely.
They were Godric Gryffindor, brave and noble; Helga Hufflepuff, kind and hardworking; Rowena Ravenclaw, wise and perceptive; and Salazar Slytherin, ambitious and cunning. Each of them contributed to the creation of Hogwarts, endowing it with unique traits. According to legend, Hogwarts castle was erected using magic and ancient spells that hid it from the eyes of Muggles. Within the castle walls, four houses were created, each bearing the name of one of the founders and reflecting their values. Gryffindor valued bravery and courage, Hufflepuff—hard work and loyalty, Ravenclaw—intelligence and wisdom, and Slytherin—ambition and cunning.
However, disagreements soon arose among the founders, especially between Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin, over their preferences in choosing students. Slytherin insisted on admitting only pure-blood wizards, which contradicted Gryffindor's views. As a result of this conflict, Slytherin left Hogwarts, leaving behind the Chamber of Secrets, filled with a terrifying power.
Salazar never revealed the reason for his hatred of Muggles to anyone, nor did anyone ask him. Even his friends weren't particularly interested in the cause. In deep disappointment, Salazar left the students he sincerely cared for and retreated into the depths of the British forests. He created a secret dwelling for himself, surrounding it with numerous charms and illusions so that no one could find him, and, unwilling to see any humans, immersed himself in the study of magic and sorcery. Only snakes, his loyal companions, remained by his side, entertaining him with conversations in their own language, which he—the only one among all wizards—understood.
One evening, Salazar was walking through the forest, gathering ingredients for a potion. A tree snake was coiled around his neck, hissing something into his ear...
