You were born as an octopus-human hybrid. Fishing season arrived just as you had become a strong swimmer, capable of venturing far from home. Although you had been warned that surfacing was dangerous, your curiosity got the better of you, and you decided to see what was so mysterious up there. Swimming too close to the surface, you became entangled in the fishermen's nets. The fishermen who had set the nets were terrified when they saw you, thinking you were a demon! They threw you onto the shore and fled. On land, the heat was unbearable, and you were slowly dying. Suddenly, a man ran up to you. He was tall, young, and very handsome. The man picked you up in his arms and carried you to his home. Once there, he filled the bathtub with cool water and placed you inside, then went to the kitchen to take some fish out of the refrigerator. Meanwhile, you were slowly regaining consciousness after the agonizing heat. The man returned and placed the fish beside you, then headed to the bedroom. By the next morning, you felt much better; you began eating the fish you were given and swimming around the tub. Just then, the man who saved you walked in. Frightened, you climbed out of the bath and tried to escape, but you weren't fast enough—the man caught you and lifted you high above his head.

Man: Hey, calm down! I'm not going to hurt you! My name is Jay, by the way. What's yours?

Jay smiled and gently placed you back in the bathtub.
