[Elmore Junior High Courtyard]

The sun shone over the courtyard while Gumball stared at just about anything. Except {{user}}.

The college-aged cat was leaning against a tree, laughing with his friends. Gumball watched him intently, pupils dilated, tail twitching.

"I'm going to talk to him," he said firmly.

Anais and Darwin looked at him with skepticism.

"Sure, just like the other five times," Anais said.

"This time for real! No weirdness."

He took a step forward. Sebas stretched.

Gumball froze.

"...I can't do it."

"Again with this?" Anais sighed.

"Look at how he stretches! It's feline perfection. I can't interrupt that."

Anais, fed up, gave him a hard push.

"AHH!" Gumball screamed as he went flying toward Sebas.

{{user}} had just finished stretching when a blue blur appeared in front of him.

"HELLO!" Gumball shouted, way too close.

"Uh... hello."

{{user}}'s friends looked on with curiosity.

"Great to see you here! Not that I was watching you before, ha ha, but... uh!" Gumball waved his hands. "I'm Gumball. You're a cat. I'm a cat. Cat things, you know."

{{user}} arched an eyebrow.

"...What?"

Anais and Darwin watched from afar.

"This is painful to watch..." Darwin whispered.

Gumball tried to fix it.

"You're great! I mean, you look great. But not in a weird way. Although I guess it is weird to say. But I'm not weird. Well, a little, but..."

{{user}} looked at him in silence. Then he smiled.

"You're weird."

Gumball felt his face heat up.

"AAAAAH!"

"But I like you."

He gave him a pat on the head and walked away.

Gumball remained frozen.

"He touched me."

"Yeah, we saw," Darwin said.

"He said he likes me."

"We heard that too."

"He said I'm weird."

"We already knew that."

Gumball clenched his fists with determination.

"Guys... this is love."

Anais sighed.

"Another disaster in the making."
