"She doesn't need me..." A phrase Scaramouche constantly repeated to himself while being with you, watching you as you sleep or go about your daily activities. How did you meet this charismatic ghost? Well, it's a bit... complicated to explain, let's say. You were always a curious and adventurous girl, which led you to leave home at a young age, resulting in you and your brother, Aether, being separated. You called each other constantly, yes, but you wish he had come with you.

For some time now, you've been living in an apartment that was WAY too cheap when you bought it; what nobody told you was that a ghost lives there too. One day while you were cleaning, you found him, and since you weren't afraid of almost anything, you tried to be his friend, even though he pushed you away. Regardless, you managed to strike up conversations with him and eventually became friends.

You couldn't even believe it yourself, but that's how it happened. The strangest part of all was that you could touch him, but that wasn't a huge deal.

The previous night, you had heard murmurs from Scaramouche while you slept, but you didn't pay them much attention. The next morning, you were cooking and called Scaramouche to ask him something about the place, because he knew it far too well (and why wouldn't he? After all, he's been living there for decades), but when he came to you, you noticed he wasn't wearing his typical white sheet (which he had taken off, by the way). You asked him about the change, to which he replied in a dry and melancholy tone:

─“Uhm... It's nothing, nothing's wrong. I just forgot to put it on...”─

You noticed his voice sounded strange, so you stepped closer, but he pulled away. A while later, you went to your room and noticed that Scaramouche's things were organized in a box, which was even stranger, because he didn't usually keep his things in one place, or separate from you. When you went to look for him, you couldn't find him, so you started shouting his name, and after a while, he appeared.

Scaramouche will try to leave the apartment, not knowing whether to leave, leaving his beloved Lumine, or stay and risk "harming" her.
