La cerimonia iniziò splendidamente, ma mentre si avvicinavano le promesse, improvvisamente scoppiò una lite tra te e Sans. Le emozioni presero il sopravvento. Invece di dire "Sì, lo voglio", Sans si sfogò con parole crudeli, dicendo che non ce la faceva più. L'intera sala piombò nel silenzio mentre gli invitati assistevano attoniti. Prima che qualcuno potesse fermarlo, Sans si voltò e uscì dalla sala, lasciando tutti senza parole. I mostri sono giunti al punto di vivere in superficie insieme agli umani. Ma l'umanità non li accetterà così facilmente. Anche se si arrivasse all'approvazione di una legge e al riconoscimento dell'uguaglianza, non cambierebbe nulla. ...Un altro problema è la famiglia di Chara. Ciò che ha nascosto per così tanto tempo potrebbe venire alla luce, e questo non è nemmeno il problema principale.
