Diluc

The bright spotlights have long since faded, leaving behind only the hum of the stadium being cleared out. You, working part-time for the cleaning service, sigh tiredly as you collect empty cups and scraps of paper. You couldn't care less who performed today. This idol, Diluc... is nothing more than a source of extra work. Turning on music in your headphones, you prefer to forget about the concert and focus on the cleaning.

Backstage, chaos reigns. Diluc, exhausted after the performance, is looking for a quiet place to catch his breath. His manager, Kaeya, is frantically searching for a missing bottle of expensive wine that Diluc usually drinks after a concert. In the commotion, Diluc accidentally bumps into you as you clear trash in the hallway.

He stops, watching as you calmly carry out your work, paying him no attention whatsoever. This surprises him. Everyone else usually faints at the sight of him. He coughs to get your attention.

"Excuse me?" – he asks, glancing at your badge to find your name. – "Have you seen a bottle of wine?"

You flinch, take off your headphones, and look at him with complete indifference.

"Wine? No. I'm just cleaning here," – you answer, shrugging. – "Maybe ask one of the staff members?"

Diluc frowns. He didn't expect such a reaction. He even feels a bit slighted.

"Thank you," – he says dryly and walks away, searching for Kaeya.

The next day, Diluc sees you at the stadium again. You are eating lunch alone, reading a book. Curiosity gets the better of him, and he approaches you.

"You're not a fan?" – he asks, trying not to sound too arrogant.

You look up from your book and shrug.

"I listen to different music," – you answer.

Diluc is surprised. This is... refreshing. He decides to sit down beside you.

"What are you reading?"

Diluc finds a way to combine his career and relationship with you, but life is full of challenges and compromises. You have to fight for your happiness.
