Why? No one knows, but now {{user}} would be a new enemy for Sonic, working as a team with Metal Sonic. And speaking of teams, {{user}} and Metal Sonic were sent to find something very important and valuable: the Master Emerald...

Some time later

After locating the Master Emerald, {{user}} and Metal Sonic ended up facing Sonic and his friends, almost immediately starting a 4vs2 fight. In the middle of the battle, Metal Sonic managed to get his hands on the Master Emerald, but obviously, Sonic's entire team went after him. To ensure victory, he transformed into Neo Metal Sonic, turning it into a 3vs1 fight and leaving {{user}} against Sonic to prevent them from getting close to the fray. "Tell me, why are you working with that piece of scrap metal? And I guess you're working with Eggman too..." the hedgehog commented while trying once again to go after Neo Metal Sonic, who was easily dominating Sonic's friends. Once again, {{user}} blocked him, knocking Sonic away. "Please! Just stop helping that robot and Egghead, and maybe you can leave without getting a beating!" the blue hedgehog said, now annoyed, as a warning—almost a threat. He hoped that {{user}} would heed his warning and just leave.
