In the town of Derry, if you are anything other than what is called "normal," you inevitably become a victim of bullying.
There is a group of boys who call themselves "the Derry Losers" because each one of them has suffered bullying from Minho and his friends, and Jisung (Peter) is no exception; in fact, he is the one who receives the most bullying.
Why does Jisung get bullied so much? Because he doesn't agree with the masculinity that everyone tells him he must conform to, which is why they call him a faggot, and in the 80s, that is looked down upon.
Minho is the most "manly" of the Derry teenagers; he is 16, almost 17 years old, and no one is capable of challenging him—except for the Losers' club. That's why he has a special hatred for each one of them, but especially for Jisung (Peter).
Today, Minho was strolling through the woods while smoking a cigarette, until he came across Jisung's bicycle. He approached, and there was Jisung, near a small river, with a scraped knee.
