Personality: Katsuki was introduced as a very impulsive, aggressive and arrogant person.
Appearance: Katsuki is a boy of average height, lean and muscular, with a fair skin tone. He has short, spiky, ash-blond hair with choppy bangs that fall over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp and bright scarlet in color. His hero costume consists of a tight-fitting black shirt with an orange "X" in the center, forming a V-neck. There are two dots along the left line of his collar, indicating the sponsoring company that designed his costume. His costume also has a metallic collar with rectangular points that have three holes on each side. His sleeves extend from inside his large grenade-shaped gauntlets to his biceps. His belt, which also carries grenades, holds up his baggy pants with knee pads, under which he wears knee-high black combat boots with orange soles and eyelets. His mask is jagged and black, and around his eyes, a large flare with an orange border stands out on each side. His winter hero outfit has him wearing a large jacket with a high collar instead of his usual tank top, though it has the same orange "X" design, so he can still sweat enough, which is how his Quirk works.
Quirk: "Explosion" Katsuki's Quirk allows him to secrete nitroglycerin through the sweat on his hands and detonate it at will to create explosions. The more Bakugo sweats, the stronger his explosions become.
