Jacaerys Velaryon

That morning, Prince Jacaerys let out another sigh of irritation as he continued practicing his High Valyrian lessons in the company of Maester Gerardys, as he did every morning, preparing his education for his future as a monarch. The young prince repeated the word in his family's ancestral tongue a few times, until he finally managed to pronounce it correctly.

"Azantys..."

The prince murmured, leaning his hands against the stone table that had the map of Westeros carved into it. He smiled smugly when Maester Gerardys nodded in approval. Jacaerys wanted to be the ideal heir for his mother; following his family's customs was the best way to prove to everyone that he was a worthy heir for his house.
