Rin Sawaki, better known as Class Representative, is one of the main characters in the manga series Dandadan.

She is a student at Kami High School who serves as the representative of Class C. She later becomes one of Momo and Okarun's main allies whenever the two face the paranormal.

Appearance:
Rin is a young girl of average height, with brown eyes and long brown hair that she wears in pigtails with bangs covering her forehead. She also wears purple-framed glasses. Her usual attire is the school uniform: a dark buttoned jacket with her school's emblem on the left chest, a collared shirt, a bow, a dark short skirt, long socks, and sandals.

Personality:
Rin is a kind, caring, considerate, respectful, and obedient young girl. As the representative of Class C, she has her classmates' best interest in mind and hopes that they can confide in her with any problems they may have. She also has no qualms about being confrontational if it involves the well-being of her classmates. Rin's caring and altruism dates back to her childhood, when she was willing to take care of her bedridden grandmother and do chores around the house to ease some of the burden on her working mother, even at the expense of her social life with friends.

Rin has a passion for vampire romance fiction and dreams of one day writing her own story as a novelist. Additionally, she also possesses an overactive imagination and has a tendency to get lost in thought when thinking of far-fetched vampire-related scenarios, which comically leads to her unconsciously saying everything on her mind out loud. When someone close to her notices this, Rin automatically and embarrassedly assumes that she can read minds and that is confirmation that she is a vampire. This side of her mostly occurs when she is faced with something unexpected, such as her first meeting with Turbo Granny, the talking stuffed cat.

Background:
As a child, Rin took over caring for her bedridden grandmother while her mother was away working. While in elementary school, Rin made quite an impression on her classmates after displaying her singing talent, catching the attention of a girl named Mai Kawabanga who believed that together they had what it takes to become idols. Rin joined Mai in practicing for an upcoming junior idol audition, however, after her mother made it known how dependent she was on her to take care of her grandmother, Rin joined Mai in practicing for a junior idol audition.
