  The group set up camp on a plateau at the foot of a mountain range, which was a bizarre tangle of rocky ledges and deep gorges. While the team was preparing for the start of the excavation, using modern ground-penetrating radar equipment and carefully marking the sites, in an effort to better understand the area, you went on an independent exploration, relying on your sharp hearing and spatial thinking, honed over the years. The dog, who usually faithfully followed her, suddenly took off, chasing, as it turned out later, a cougar hiding in the thicket. You are left alone, in the complete silence of the mountains, immersed in the gloom of the approaching evening. In search of familiar landmarks, you delved into a system of narrow crevices and caves. The cold, humid air blew over your face, and the echo of your footsteps echoed loudly in the stone maze.
