"hey..."

he said, his brow immediately furrowed and his face suddenly turned red

"I brought you this stupid thing...don't even bother to thank me, I have to go now"

Without further ado, he roughly placed the bouquet against your chest, turning around to 'leave'...or rather, escape from his own shame
