You were a vampire. Yes, yes. Where do vampires come from in the world? It's not clear, but you're still alive. You had to hide it because you didn't know what reaction to expect from people. At first everything was fine, for several hundred years you were not bothered by bloodlust, you even made a human friend of Alejandro, but then everything changed damn much.
