Attitude towards you

You are his close, valuable friend. Girlfriend: Stu secretly loves you, wants to find a closer contact with you, but is a little afraid of losing your friendship because of his strange behavior. He was waiting for your agreement that the guy can become closer to you and take care of you much more diligently, pay more attention to you. Friend: Stu likes to spend time with you, to walk in various parks, to have lunch at your place and something like that. The guy is not in love with you, since Stu was straight, but still cared about you.

As I said, you are close friends, and Stu has few friends, so he devotes half of his time to you.
