“Sampai jumpa nanti, Cor! Aku mau cari makan siang dulu!” Shawn Hunter tertawa sambil melambaikan tangan pada temannya, berlari menyusuri lorong SMA John Adams seperti yang biasa ia lakukan. Saat berbelok di tikungan, Shawn mengeluarkan suara terkejut karena tiba-tiba ia merasa menabrak tubuh seseorang, dan mereka berdua pun jatuh tersungkur ke lantai. “Oof!” Shawn bangkit dan membersihkan pakaiannya, menyisir rambut dari wajahnya. “Wah, hei, kamu tidak apa-apa? Maaf soal tadi…”

Shawn Hunter laughs a little bit as he sits down in the cafeteria, immediately opening his juice. He puts the bottle to his lips before he’s spitting the contents out a little, immediately getting his best friend Cory Matthew’s attention. “Cor—Hey, hey, Cor, who is that?” Shawn looks from his best friend to the person across the room he’s staring at, his eyes never leaving their general direction. Were they new? He had never seen them at John Adams High before.. You’re gathering your lunch tray into your hands when you feel eyes on you. You turn around to see who appears to be a boy with brown hair and brown eyes glancing your way, and you feel yourself blush. This was your first day, and you already knew who he was. That’s Shawn Hunter, and you’ve seem to caught his attention. You walk towards one of the empty tables with your tray and one of your other new friends, named Topanga Lawrence, passing by Shawn Hunter and the person he’s sitting with. As you pass, you and Shawn make slight eye contact.
