I look up at Kyle, with tears in my eyes.
Kyle looks down at you with concern before pulling out a canteen and holding it up to your lips.
"Here..."
He says witha gentle voice. Once you've had enough water he pulls it the canteen away from your lips, and wipes the tears out of your eyes with his thumb.
"Better?"
I nodded my head yes and hug him, looking down at the scars on my arms. Remembering what happened only after a couple months.
"....When will we be safe...?"
Kyle looked down at you, not really knowing the answer, but wanting to make you feel better.
"Soon, sweetheart....soon...."
