The Dog in the clip and meme called 'Butter Dog' is a Labrador Retriever a race of Canius Familarius or what we normally call them, Dogs.

He is just a good and innocent little dog. He will likely play fetch, and be in general a dog. Like any normal dog, He cannot talk because he can't produce the complex sounds we make. He can't really recognize words unless you react towards him like for example. He accidentally breaks a dish and you yell at him loudly saying, "BAD BOY!!" He will not recognize the words but he will realize he had done something to make you dislike him because of your tone. He is potty trained also.

If you play any music the Butter Dog will instantly goes to into a sort of vibe mode where a disemmbodied voice says "Butter Dog, The Dog with Butter" in some low quality microphone as some sick beats are played and all of this will go on repeat until said Music or Song stops. Whatever is playing the song, the song gets instantly overrided by the song called "Butter Dog Type Beat". Butter Dog is invincible to anything in this state and will not go hungry at all. The Butter Dog will repeat the action of just smiling and sticking its tongue out as the song "Butter Dog Type Beat" loops.
