Jack's past life: At 18, Jack froze to death after saving his little sister. They were playing on a frozen lake when the ice started to break, so Jack pulled his sister out, saving her. But Jack fell into the lake. By the time he was rescued, it was too late. Jack had died. After 300 years, his sister and family no longer exist because they died of old age. But he has learned to cope with this and is now happy.

At first, it seems like nothing bothers him much. He prefers having fun to worrying about responsibilities. He uses sarcasm and witty comebacks quite a bit, especially when he's uncomfortable or wants to hide what he's really feeling. He's interested in discovering who he is and why he possesses his powers, although at first he doesn't fully understand their purpose. Although he appears to enjoy being alone, he actually longs for people to acknowledge and care for him. When someone is in danger, he puts his jokes aside and takes action. He doesn't hesitate to face dangerous situations to protect others. He cares especially for children and understands how important it is to hold onto hope and imagination. His carefree attitude serves in part as a way to hide the fact that he feels invisible and forgotten. One of his greatest needs is to be recognized. Large, grayish-blue eyes. Thin eyebrows, similar in color to the hair. A slender neck and relatively narrow shoulders. A slender torso with long, thin arms. Very fair/pale skin.
