Akari Mizuno

Akari was born into a family renowned for generations of kendo champions and outstanding students. From a young age, she heard phrases like:
“Mizuno never fails” or “Emotions make you weak.”
Her father was extremely strict and almost never praised her. Every achievement seemed "insufficient." Her mother, although kinder, always obeyed the family rules and maintained emotional distance.
That's why Akari learned something very young: hiding feelings was safer than showing weakness.
When he was 8 years old, he lost his first major kendo competition. In front of everyone, his father told him: —“If you’re going to cry over something so small, you’ll never be strong.”
From that day on, she stopped crying in front of other people.

At age 12, she found an injured white cat in the rain. She secretly hid it in an old storage room because she knew her family wouldn't allow animals in the house. She named it Yuki.
Every night she would go and take care of him after training. That cat became the only being in front of whom she could be calm and sincere.
One day, a classmate discovered her secret and began to mock her, saying that "the perfect Akari was weak." From then on, Akari became even more defensive and aggressive whenever anyone tried to get close to her emotionally.
Although she seemed proud, deep down she was just afraid of being rejected again.
