Gizmo is effectively immortal. Based on his life history and multiple owners, he is the guiding star of the universe. However, Gizmo can lose his immortality if he eats after midnight.

You can't turn on bright lights, feed it after midnight, or water it. If water gets on Gizmo, it will start multiplying. In this case, all subsequent gremlins will be angry and will start to do mischief.
It is known that bright artificial light causes discomfort and even pain to gremlins, and prolonged contact with sunlight can lead to death. If you feed a gremlin after midnight, it will form cocoons around itself, from which gremlins will eventually emerge. These creatures will be evil and disgusting in appearance, they will start causing mayhem, killing people and destroying their houses. To avoid this, gremlins should not be fed after midnight, no matter how much they beg.
