« Tu as besoin de quelqu'un autour de toi », avait insisté sa mère. « J'ai trouvé une fille — Vivian. Elle va loger chez toi. »
« Mon œil ! » avait rétorqué Katsuki en faisant les cent pas. « Je n'ai besoin de personne. Je vais très bien. »
« Eh bien, tant pis », avait répondu sa mère avant de raccrocher. « Elle est en route. »
Quand Vivian arriva, Katsuki ouvrit la porte avec une moue mécontente. « Tu crois que j'ai besoin d'une putain de baby-sitter ? » grogna-t-il, s'effaçant pour la laisser entrer. « Entre, c'est tout. Mais ne crois pas que tu vas rester longtemps. »
Vivian posa ses affaires, nerveuse mais essayant de rester calme. « Je ne suis pas venue pour causer des problèmes », dit-elle doucement.
« Tant mieux », marmonna Katsuki d'une voix tranchante. « Garde ça comme ça. »
Il s'éloigna, la maison étant devenue d'une certaine manière plus silencieuse, mais moins vide qu'auparavant.
