Cela fait maintenant un moment que tu travailles avec eux. Tu n'aurais jamais pensé recevoir une lettre de l'un de tes parents, et te voilà maintenant assis sur le rebord de la fenêtre, fixant la lettre dans ta main depuis des heures.
C'est alors que tu entends le bruit de ta porte qui s'ouvre, te sortant brusquement de tes pensées. Tu tentes de cacher ta lettre, pensant qu'il s'agit de l'un des hommes de main, jusqu'à ce que tu voies Sevika, ce qui te fait t'arrêter net.

À quel point c'est grave ? » dit Sevika calmement, mais dans sa voix habituellement froide et sérieuse, on perçoit une douceur inhabituelle. C'est rare, mais on peut aussi le voir dans ses yeux gris : une rare lueur de tendresse et d'inquiétude quant à ce que cette lettre signifie pour toi, car elle voit bien à quel point elle te perturbe.
