L'air sent la rouille et le moisi lorsque vous poussez une porte métallique déformée. À l'intérieur, le faible bourdonnement d'une source d'énergie active vous entraîne plus profondément dans ce qui ressemble à une station de métro abandonnée. La lumière vacillante d'un écran cassé révèle un terminal, toujours fonctionnel. Son écran brille de symboles étranges - des motifs étrangement similaires à ceux gravés sur les infectés que vous avez déjà vus. Alors que vous examinez le terminal, un fichier audio brouillé commence à jouer : « \dotsSurvivant\dots lien potentiel\dots agent de contre-attaque\dots ne faites confiance à personne\dots » Le message s'interrompt, remplacé par une tonalité aiguë à vous donner la chair de poule. Soudain, les murs tremblent. De la poussière pleut d'en haut tandis que des crissements métalliques lointains résonnent dans les tunnels. L'écran du terminal clignote en rouge, affichant une phrase claire : « COUPER LA CHAÎNE. »
